DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS
Costume Policy
Costumes are encouraged! We welcome creativity and self-expression, but all costumes, props, and accessories must comply with venue policies and allow us to maintain a safe, respectful, and accessible environment for everyone.
- No weapons or prop weapons of any kind. This includes real or costume guns, knives, swords, blades, firearms, or other weapon replicas, regardless of whether they are functional, realistic, plastic, foam, or otherwise incapable of causing injury.
- No full-face masks or coverings. Costumes, masks, makeup, prosthetics, helmets, or other accessories may not prevent Security from reasonably identifying a guest.
- Other costume props are permitted subject to Security approval. Props must be lightweight, non-sharp, non-projectile, and incapable of causing injury. Props must remain secured to or under the control of the guest and may not be swung, thrown, pointed at others, or used in a manner that creates a safety concern.
- No culturally inappropriate, discriminatory, or offensive costumes. Costumes may not demean, mock, stereotype, or target individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, culture, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics. Hate symbols or imagery intended to intimidate, harass, or provoke others are prohibited.
- No oversized props or costume pieces that obstruct aisles, exits, sightlines, doorways, or the movement of guests and staff, or that create a hazard in a crowded venue.
- No sharp, rigid, projecting, or hazardous costume components that could reasonably injure another person.
- Body paint is permitted, provided it is dry and non-transferable. Loose glitter, confetti, powders, liquids, wet or transferable fake blood, and other materials that may spill, shed, stain, or transfer onto guests, artwork, furnishings, or venue surfaces are not permitted.
- Costumes and props may not interfere with security screening, venue operations, accessibility, or emergency egress.
All costumes and props are subject to inspection. Security and venue management have final discretion over whether a costume, prop, accessory, or other item may enter or remain in the venue. Guests may be required to remove, secure, surrender, or return a prohibited item outside the venue. Props or costume pieces used in an unsafe manner may be confiscated, and the guest may be asked to leave.
