Visit
Level 1 is an underground dance music venue located beneath Cannonball Arts in downtown Seattle. The space is designed for immersive listening and late-night programming, powered by a House Under Magic sound system. Most events are 21+, unless otherwise noted. Guests can expect a darker, intimate environment focused on music discovery, movement, and community. Event details, hours, and age restrictions are listed on individual show pages.

Doors
Doors open at 9pm. We recommend coming early to avoid lines and enjoy the whole experience.
Entrance and Exit
- Entrance and Exit are located on Virginia Street between 3rd and 4th.
- Please have your tickets/ticketing app ready for entry to the venue. Be aware of a scalpers,
- Praise Of Shadows is a 21+ event, no exceptions. Please only bring a valid form of physical identification to accompany your tickets at the door. Valid forms of ID include: driver’s licenses, passports, or foreign national IDs. There is no re-entry.
Phone-Free Policy
- Level 1 events are phone-free on the dance floor. Upon arrival, a sticker will be placed over your phone camera.
- Phone use is allowed in designated areas only. Guests caught taking photos or video on the dance floor will be asked to exit the venue immediately.
Bag Policy
- Bags must not exceed 4.5” x 6.5” (small clutch size)
- Backpacks, tote bags, purses, and large bags are not permitted
- Clear bags are permitted
- Camera bags are allowed for credentialed media only and are subject to search
- All persons and bags are subject to inspection
Guests with prohibited bags must return them to their vehicle or check them with security.
Water Bottle Policy
- One empty, reusable soft plastic or collapsible water bottle per person
- Bottles must be empty upon entry
- No metal, glass, or hard plastic bottles
- Refill stations are available inside the venue
Coat Check
Coat check is available for $5.
Rideshare
- Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is located on 3rd Avenue.
Prohibited Items
- Outside food or beverages (empty collapsible water bottles permitted)
- Weapons of any kind
- Mace, pepper spray, or tasers
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Smoking or vaping inside the venue
- Projectiles, hula hoops, glow sticks, noise makers
- Cameras or recording equipment
- Gifts for artists
- Animals

Anti-Harassment Policy
- Level 1 and Cannonball Arts are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all guests, artists, and staff.
- Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. If you feel unsafe or experience harassment, notify a staff member or security immediately. Individuals engaging in prohibited behavior may be removed without refund and banned from future events.
